The Pepperclub Autumn wine tasting series kicked off last night, with guests sampling the Ernie Els range of fine wines in our cosmopolitan Paparazzi Bar & Lounge. And what a success it was!
While the weather wasn’t typically of Autumn temperatures, but rather a balmy summer evening (not that we’re complaining!), it was the perfect setting for the launch of our latest wine tasting series, and offered guests a chance to unwind on our outside veranda while savouring Ernie Els vintages.
Guests were treated to the upbeat and complex nose of the Ernie Els 2014 Big Easy Chenin Blanc and full-bodied 2013 Big Easy red blend, which both epitomize Ernie Els’ (the man himself) manner – big in stature, yet gentle in character. Guests also sampled the Ernie Els 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon, and to top the evening off on a high note, the Proprietor’s blend was served.
If you missed out last night, be sure to attend the second instalment of our Autumn wine tasting series on Thursday 16 April 2015 at 5.30pm to sample varieties from Durbanville Hills and Neethlingshof.
No bookings are required and the wine tasting runs from 5.30pm to 7pm. For more information, please view the event page (here).
