As this is the Mother City’s busiest season, we’re sharing a sneak peek of our fabulous festive dining options that will be on offer to help you get a head-start on your party planning.
Christmas Eve – 24 December 2016
Our talented Executive Chef, Scott Hendrie will be kicking off the Christmas festivities with a variety of traditional festive favourites along with our popular a la carte menu. This extended menu will be on offer for Christmas Eve dinner from 18h00. Our a la carte menu is available here.
Christmas Day – 25 December 2016
Christmas morning is a magical time, especially for children. Guests staying at the hotel are invited to bring their young ones down to the lobby at 09h00 to meet Santa Claus in person and receive a little gift from his magical bag of presents. A traditional Christmas lunch will also be served in Sinatra’s restaurant from 12h00.
Our special Christmas Dinner Feast will begin at 18h00 with a buffet style selection of cold and warm dishes to tantalize your taste buds and the menu will host an extensive selection of salads, quiches, breads and sushi, followed by an array of festive offerings such as glazed gammon with cinnamon apple sauce, roast turkey with traditional stuffing and cranberry sauce, cauliflower au gratin and Yorkshire pudding. A full dessert table boasting Yule chocolate log, mince pies, Tiramisu, as well as a selection of fine cheeses and seasonal fruits will end off a perfect evening and Christmas celebration.

Day of Goodwill – 26 December 2016
We’re celebrating the Day of Goodwill, also known as Boxing Day, in style with a South African themed buffet dinner. The menu highlights include cold dishes such as chakalaka penne pasta, Cajun chicken bento style salad as well as orange and beetroot salad with walnuts. Hot dishes include roasted sirloin with horseradish béarnaise and red wine jus, creamy Cape Malay chicken curry with sambals and poppadoms, grilled line fish with a dill and lemon cream reduction, as well as butternut, spinach and feta lasagne. To end it all off, treat yourself to some of our decadent dessert options which include festive trifle, chocolate mousse and fruit and cheese platters.

New Year’s Eve – 31 December 2016
The Cape Town CBD is one of the city’s most happening locations for this festive celebration. Ring in the New Year with an indulgent three course set menu that will be served from 18h00. You can expect gourmet dishes starting with the option of a Fritto Misto platter which includes tempura prawns, steamed mussels and Japanese crumbed fish goujons or spicy gazpacho soup. For mains, guests have the choice between dishes such as Kingklip Saltimbocca or grilled lamb rump, while for dessert, sample the strawberry and passion fruit pavlova. A standard a la carte menu will also be on offer.

New Year’s Day – 1 January 2017
On New Year’s Day, guests staying in the hotel on a bed and breakfast basis will be able to enjoy a delicious complimentary brunch between 08h30 and 13h00.
There will also be a full buffet dinner menu on offer from 18h00 at a cost of R600 per person. Highlights from the menu include a selection of cold dishes such as Italian cold meats, salads and pasta, while the hot selection offers a range of meat, seafood and vegetable dishes. A tasty dessert table adds the final touch to this feast fit for a king on the first day of the New Year.
