Pepper Club on the Beach, Camps Bay's newest fine dining restaurant and stylish cocktail bar, was
officially launched in December with more than 400 guests in attendance, including an array of
South Africa's top models, musicians and sportsmen.
Pepper Club on the Beach is a groundbreaking concept in the South African hotel industry -
combining a 5 star hotel in the heart of Cape Town with a multi-million rand beach club on the
Camps Bay beachfront. While the beach club will be open seven days a week to the general public,
guests of the Pepper Club luxury hotel residence and spa will receive VIP treatment with the use of the exclusive changing room facilities at the beach club, after a leisurely day on the beach.
In order to ensure that guests are treated to the latest culinary delights, chef Gabriel Le Roux
has been appointed as the group executive chef of Pepper Club. Le Roux has amassed an enviable
career history, having trained under Michelin star chef Raymond Blanc at his French fusion
restaurant Le Petit Blanc in the UK, as well as gaining experience in the restaurants of a number
of 5 star hotels across South Africa and internationally.
According to David Solomon, chairman and developer of Pepper Club, guests of Pepper Club on the
Beach are perfectly placed to enjoy the sea view while sipping on cocktails, indulging in sumptuous lunches or indulging in a sunset dinner. "We will also provide specially catered picnics on Camps
Bay beach with all the gastronomic goodies you desire," says Solomon.
