Despite the current global economic climate, the demand for hotel penthouse suites in Cape Town is
steadily growing as wealthy investors opt for secure and hassle-free living in a city that is
increasingly being compared with international coastal destinations such as Monte Carlo and Miami.
Once completed, the Pepper Club will feature one of the largest and most luxurious penthouse suites in the city. "Luxury hotel penthouses are particularly enticing as they offer services and amenities,
security, specialised services and accessibility that a standalone house cannot," says Jeffrey
Solomon, director of Solomon Holdings, developer of Pepper Club.
Recently the One & Only Hotel's penthouse in the Waterfront fetched a price of R110 million - a
record sale for single residential property in South Africa.
Solomon says that with a far more modest price tag of R18 million, Pepper Club's penthouse offers a
more enticing value proposition. Positioned on the 19th and 20th floors of the hotel, the penthouse
offers one of the most spectacular 360 degree views of the city, mountain and the ocean. The suite is
approximately 750 m² and features four en-suite bedrooms, a sundeck, private pool and outdoor bar and entertainment area. Additional penthouse services include a personalised concierge, butler and
housekeeping service.
According to Solomon, enquiries about Pepper Club's penthouse have already been received from local
and international businessmen and celebrities.
