SA Luxury hotel announces first-of-its-kind tourism concept
Pepper Club recently announced the introduction of a groundbreaking concept in the South African hotel industry - combining a five star hotel in the heart of Cape Town with a multi-million rand beach club
on the Camps Bay beachfront.
The beach club - Pepper Club on the Beach - is situated on the Camps Bay Promenade and will feature a
fine dining restaurant, stylish cocktail bar and classy night spot - all overlooking one of the most

Pepper Club goes live
Pepper Club has launched its official state-of-the-art online booking site well in time to capture a
slice of the tourism market for 2010.
Chairman and developer of Pepper Club, David Solomon says the web is becoming the preferred method for planning and booking a hotel stay globally. "In addition, many of them prefer to do their own research to ensure that their accommodation suits their particular preference."

Cape Town hotels the preferred 2010 destination for South American soccer fans
As we enter the final year of preparation for the kick-off of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, hotel
bookings in Cape Town have fast gained momentum with tourists from South and Central America currently leading the way - despite early predictions of a slump due to the effect of the global economic
crisis.
Pepper Club has seen an increasing positive sentiment in the recording of pre-bookings of almost 80%
by predominately Brazilian and Mexican tourists.

SA Tourism industry to benefit as affluent consumers start spending again - But operators warned of dangers of overcharging
Early signs are starting to appear that the number of affluent foreign tourists set to visit South
African shores this summer will be significantly higher than last year, as the worst of the global
recession appears to be easing for the some of the world's biggest economies.
Recent reports in the American press have suggested the green shoots of recovery are already making an appearance for most affluent luxury consumers, raising expectations that tourism hotspots such as Cape Town will benefit from the upswing.
